Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the civilizations and the cultural phases on the land of Turkiye.The curriculum covers the period extended from prehistoric ages until modern times, their effect and contribution to our lives.
Topics are evaluated through concrete data and geographical modeling through up to date commentaries and reflected by visual instruments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire knowledge about the essential outlines about the cultural history of Türkiye
2   learn the categories and definitions of civilizations
3   become aware of the historical sites
4   render and evaluate historical knowledge from today's perspective
