Course Objective

This course is about understanding the fundamental principles of discourse and ideology and making discourse analysis. The course aims to give students the ability to analyze a certain text and think critically on certain current problems.

1   To have knowledge about discourse and ideology.
2   To have a basic knowledge of some discourse analysis based concepts.
3   To be capable of doing discourse analysis.
4   To be capable of using course s terminology.
5   To have critical approach.
