Course Objective

This course aims at providing detailed information about theoretical and applied terminology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the position of terminology in daily life
2   Construct a monolingual and/or multilingual term bank using computers
3   Constructing termbanks for various fields
4   Construct a database of terms required by linguists and translators
5   Conduct, evaluate, check terminological studies and participate in these studies
6   Evaluate present term data bases
