Course Objective

The aim of this lesson is to make students see how phraseology researches are placed in literature,processes in idiomatization,how to achieve effective speech with phrases,idiomatization criterions and making comparisons between languages to learn especially Turkish phrases should be placed in dictionaries and how they should be, thus learn the story of many phrases of our culture ve improve their skills in use of phrases in different contexts.

Assessment Criteria

1. 1- Learning outcomes 1,2,4,5,6 will be evaluated via the questions asked in the mid-term and final exams.
2. 2- Learning outcome 3 will be evaluated via homework assignment/Project.

1. 1- 70% class attendance is obligatory.
2. 2- Absence from classes will not be considered as an excuse for late submission of the homework assignments/projects.
3. 3- Cheating and plagiarism attempts in assignments and exams will be evaluated with a 0 (zero) grade
