Course Objective

To command a ship effectively with the knowledge of theory of ship handling, to make a ship maneuver with safety, To conduct and command a ship under different environmental condition

3   To manage and command to ship under different environmental forces

4 Control of the ship, Bow thruster and propeller effects
5 Turning circles Anchoring and mooring
6 Approaching a pilot vessel, Approaching a rescue/life boat
7 Ship handling in restricted waters
8 Midterm Exam
9 Interaction between the ship and land objects, tug use, master and pilot relation in maneuver
10 Handling ships in heavy weather
11 Shallow Water Effects and Narrow Channel Effects Squat
12 Pilotage and Pilot-Master Communication
13 Navigating in or near ice
14 Rescue boats and survival craft approaching maneuvers
15 Maneuvering in traffic seperation schemes TSS and VTS
