Course Objective

The objective of the course is to make an evaluation of the studies of Turkey, as a country of the Council of Europe and a country desiring to become a member of the European Union, for adapting its environmental legislation to the European Union, its priorities of legislation and the position and success of Turkey in the case reports of the European Union.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know the basic philosophy of Environmental Management and Integrated Environmental Policies in European Union and Council of Europe
2   To learn environmental legislation and administrative responsibilities about EU acquis communautaire
3   To learn the political economic and cultural impacts of the international organizations
