Course Objective

Objective of this course is to give an ability to identify the general and sectorel characteristics of industrial wastewaters, to develop appropriate treatment flow scheme considering legal aspects and sustainable natural sources management, and to design required treatment units.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Specifies the general characteristics of wastewater and wastewater treatment options
2   Defining the general characteristics of industrial wastewaters
3   Knowledgeable about the relevant legislation
4   Develop alternative wastewater treatment flow scheme considering sustainable natural resources management concept
5   Ability to design of treatment plant units
6   During production, applies waste minimization techniques considering optimum natural resources utilization and sustainability concept
7   Different types of industrial wastewater management capability depending on quality and quantity of pollution contents
