Environmental Engineering

Course Objective

The main objective of the course to introduce basic statististics, statiscial methods used in designinig experiments, the major control parameters to be concerned in conducting experiements related with Environmental Engineering and finally statistical analysis and evaluation of experimental results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the basic statistics used in experimental design methods
2   Select the design methods based on number of factor and number of experiments
3   Statistically analyse the desig methods used to decrease number of experiments
4   Define optimization methods
5   Solve statiscal design methods by useng softwares
6   Evalute the statiscal results of the experiments
