Course Objective

The course objective is to teach the design principles of marine outfall systems and to inform the students about the wastewater disposal into the marine environment without causing any harmful effect for human health.

3   To compute the dilutions in marine environment
4   To calculate the forces on discharge pipe (pipeline)
5   To design the concrete weights ensuring the pipe stability
