Course Objective

The course aims to teach the English technical terms used in Environmental Sciences and Engineering in order to advance the communication and writing skills of the students in English. To improve their abilities in reading international scientific literature to be able to follow the recent developments in Environmental Science and Technology and also to create awareness about importance of lifelong learning

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identify the main features of treatment processes in English
2   Define the natural process in atmosphere and air pollution in English
3   Describe the solid waste sources and management strategies in English
4   Practice the use of English books and literature about Environmental Engineering
5   Practice the reading, writing and speaking in English about Environmental Engineering subjects.
