Course Objective

Objective of this course is to search and analyse the duty, function, aim of criminal law, the place, the relationship with other law branches of criminal law, the fundamental principles, brief history and resorces of criminal law, practice area of criminal law rules, general crime theory and sanction theory in the framework of criminal law science.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have basic criminal law knowledge in the framework of Turkish Criminal Code(Special Provisions).
2   To acquire knowledge about general crime theory and sanction theory.
3   To practice the criminal law(special provisions) knowledge on vocational life.
4   To comprehend the differencies between crimes and other human acts.
5   To learn the sanctions of crime
