Course Objective

The aim of this course is to foster the attendants to evaluate the main problems of philosophy such as existence, knowledge, value by reading the original philosophy texts of classical period's philosophers.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the basic opinions of philosophers and how they handle them in their own texts
2   To grasp the methods of philosophers which they used in their works
3   To learn the opinions which philosophers support or reject and their methods of dealing with these opinions
4   To scrutinize the method for writing a philosophical work
5   To learn the profits of history of philosophy for the main area of theology and to transfer the knowledge of philosophy to their life
