Course Objective

The aim of this course to make students cognized the relatons of religions and their outlooks towards each other and make them aware the importance of the cultur of living- together for preventing the clashes and problems between peoples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student will be aware the references in the sacred books giving oppurtunity for pluralism in religions
2   The student will cognize that there is the possibility to live together understanding common motifs in religions
3   The student will learn the approaches of religions towards each other from the aspect of pluralism
4   The student will learn the past examples of experience of living- together in the context of pluralism in religions
5   The student will understand the effect of setting healthy relations between other religions' believers on the culture of living- together

9 The contribution of Islam to the cultural of peace and livin- together
10 The relations of Muslims with other religions' believers form the aspect of religious pluralism
11 Pluralism in Religions and the experience of living together in Ottoman Times
12 Living together in contemporary Turkey
13 Living together in the various places of the world and its examples
