Course Objective

To help student in grasping the main views and terms in Philosophy of Religion via introducing the central texts in Philosophy of Religion and analysing them;
By emphasising some philosophical valuations in the texts, we aimed to help students in grasping the philosophical perspectives and finding solutions for recent problems under the light of philosophy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student, at the end of the semester, will get knowledge of who are the major philosophers in modern world and what their main works.
2   They will understand what these philosopher s perspectives and what their strategies in resolving the problems.
3   How it could be approached by philosophical methods in resolving the current religious and social issues.
4   They will have ideas about what kind of solutions can be found for these religious and social problems with philosophy.
5   They will be able to differ the modern philosophy from the classical philosophy.
