Course Objective

To research on: the problem of science-religion relation from the Renaissance until the current times with the help of some philosophers views and approaches to the problem.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student, at the end of the semester, will understand the relation between the two main experiential area of human being and its effects on daily life
2   They will know the place of religion in modern philosophy
3   They will know the place of science in modern philosophy.
4   They will get information about the relation between religion and science.
5   They will analyse the contradictions between religion and science in daily life
