Course Objective

To show how to use and conduct theories of understanding and interpretation on Islamic sciences and texts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They will learn modern theories of understanding and interpretation. 2   They will see how they are conducted in Islamic sciences. 3   They will read Islamic texts with theories of understanding and interpretation. 4   They will meet Muslim prominent sociologists in hermeneutics. 5   They will focus on developing new theories of understanding and interpretation.
