Course Objective

The main aim this course is to get the students comprehend changes and transformations that were occured in the history of the Turkish political thought by means of main researches

1   To be able to enumerate main sources of history of the Turkish political thought
2   To be able to comprehend changes occured in the structure of the thought from centuries
3   To be able to state Tanzimat Period and its impacts on the Turkish political world of thought
4   To be able to explain the rise of nationalism among the Ottoman Turks
