Course Objective

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with what critical theories in reading are and how they can apply them in texts. Students are equipped with knowledge and applications on language and literature based theories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to empower students with knowledge on critical reading theories
2   to enable them to acquire the types of critical theories
3   to enable them to apply language based techniques in reading
4   to enable them to apply literary theories in reading
5   to lead them to read various texts critically
