Course Objective

Evaluation of morphology (word types, conjugation and derivation) education in traditional grammar (textbooks and basic grammar books) in terms of linguistics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning the difference between grammar and linguistics.
2   Presenting the morphological phenomenon of traditional linguistics and learning how to question its approach in education in terms of linguistics.
3   Learning how to describe morphological phenomenon with a linguistic approach.
4   Learning to teach the morphological phenomenon with a descriptive-functional approach by benefiting from linguistics.
5   Using at the advanced level the French morphology s structures.
