Course Objective

is to be able to make technology applications in analytical chemistry, understand computer programs and use these programs in analytical chemistry applications of students.

1   Understand the importance of using computer assisted education in analytical chemistry education
2   learn and teach complex and abstract concepts in analytical chemistry in computer media
3   understand computer programs used in education
4   transfer and interpret of graphs related to analytical chemistry to the computer
5   design analytical chemistry experiment in computer media
6   reach literature data about computer use in analytical chemistry

3 General knowledge, introduction of computer programs, computer assisted knowledge systems and artificial intelligence
4 Chemometry, basic statistical Concepts, statistical tests, variance analysis
5 General applications and importance of computer and technology in science
6 Establishment of flow diagrams, modelling, graphical techniques, linear learning machine
7 Excel applications in analytical chemistry
8 Midterm Exam
9 Basic mathematics, graphic and numerical analysis techniques
10 Visual Basic (VB) applications
11 Macro-control table generation
12 MATHCAT applications in analytical chemistry
13 VB applications and analysis of spectrophotometric data
14 Data processing and evaluation of analytical data in computer media, designing computer assisted learning material
