Course Objective

The importance of human factor on environment consciousness and comprehending the role of science education in sustainability of environment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to have the knowledge of what the effects of humans on environment.
2   Being able to comprehend the importance of environment consciousness.
3   Being able to make the relations between human, environment and science education.
4   . Being able to evaluate and encounter the different programs point of view of in sustainability of environment education.

1 Introduction and explaining of course syllabus and giving information about course references.
2 The importance of the environment and human in science education.
3 The balance between human and the environment
4 Investigation the effects of humans on environment.
5 The place in elementary education curriculum of human and environment concepts
6 The learning and teaching process environment concepts in science education.
7 Discussing of the human effects on environment pollution
8 Midterm exam
9 What is the role of science education for sustainability environment
10 What sort of environment education has been giving in other countries Research.
11 The comparison of environment education has been given in elementary schools in Turkey and other countries.
12 What strategies must be followed to be gain environment conscious in science education Research.
13 How to remove the damages of human factor on environment through education Discussion with students.
