Course Objective

According to literary genres, to recognize distinguished works of world literature;ensure the correct expansion of the artists such as Albert Camus,Franz Kafka, André Gide, Gogol, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jean-Paul Sartre, Paul Coelho, Umberto Eco.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To recognize Western Literature, his represantatives and Works.
2   To examine Western Literature depending on trends and tezts.
3   To read the important literary figures such as Montaingne in an essay
4   Corneille, Moliere and Shakespeare, in theater,
5   Maupassant and Anton Chekhov, in the story,Chateaubriand, A. Daudet, Stendhal, Balzac, Flaubert, Anotole France, Marcel Proust, Dostoevsky and Tolstoy, In the novel,Poe, Baudelaire, Verlaine, Valéry, Apollinaire, Rimbaud, Lorca, in poetry.
