Course Objective

Distance education is a teaching system in which teachers and students are in different locations. E-learning is a kind of distance education. In this course, fundamental issues of e-learning will be discussed. These are; history of distance education, design of e-learning, learning theories influencing e-learning, e-learner, e-teacher and future of e-learning.

2   Use the fundamental e-learning concepts
3   Understand learning theories and instructional method and strategies used in e-learning
4   Set up and use Technologies used in e-learning
5   Assert and understand the role and responsibilities of students in e-learning
6   Assert and understand the role and responsibilities of teacher in e-learning
7   Understand the design process of e-learning environments
