Course Objective

The aim of this course is to encourage students to follow the current issues and express their ideas about the topics in German. This course may be viewed as a continuation of German conversation II and one of its purposes is to prepare students for oral translation.

1. 1. 70 % class attendance is required.
2. 2. Students should deliver their homework assignments on time. Being absent is not considered an excuse.
3. 3. Assesments will include the midterm and final exams and homework assignments.
4. 4. Students are expected to make individual efforts in group presentations. Otherwise they will not receive any points for their presentations and class participation.
