Course Objective

This course aims to help students to learn Russian alphabet, and to develop their basic reading and writing skills in Russian.

1   Be able to write in Russian. 2   Be able to build simple sentences. 3   Be able to answer simple questions. 4   Be able to ask questions. 5   Acquire basic information about Russian culture.

1. Two mid-terms and one final written exam are given throughout the semester. 2. Each student is expected to submit twelve individual homeworks.
