Course Objective

Examination of international institutions whose number has increased as a result of an intensified need for international co-operation and their features, structure and activities from a legal point of view.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the terms, concepts and theories related to international institutions
2   To be able to specify and evaluate the operation and activities of international institutions
3   To be able to identify and evaluate Turkey's relations with international organizations
4   To be able to interpret responses of the international community to the problems arising in a globalizing world and to propose new solutions
5   To be able to analyze and criticise the effectiveness of international institutions in solving problems that arise with globalization,
6   To be able to discuss the international political order in the context of the interaction and cooperation between members of the international community
