Course Objective

The aim is to equip students with the basic concepts of research techniques, historical background, different type sof research, design, instrumenttaion, partiicpants, data collection techniques, data study and analyses, and to write an article accoding to the tenets of qualitative or quantitative studies.

1   Gaining information about different kinds of research methods 2   applying the qualitative research to an ELT topic 3   applying the quantitative research to an ELT topic 4   doing a case study 5   analysing scholarly texts
