Course Objective

To understand importance of curriculum-based textbooks characteristics and the overall structure. To analyze the literature on textbooks, Basic reading and writing, and create evaluation criteria for textbooks and teaching aids related to Turkish education. To prepare the appropriate course content of the curriculum, be prepared to know the legal regulations related to learning materials and technical specifications.

1   1. Being able to know the concepts related to textbooks and teaching material preparation,
2   2. Being able to understand the links between the curriculum and textbooks,
3   3. Being able to have knowledge and skills about communication technologies in the preparation of textbooks,
4   4. Being able to prepare teacher's guide and student s guide for a textbook of a course in basic.
5   5. Being able to prepare different various teaching materials for a textbook of a course in basic.

3 Content of textbooks, curriculum, attainment, learning process, preparation, evaluation stages
4 language, expression and style. Text structure, clarification of the text, level of age, sentence and vocabulary structure, spelling and punctuation in textbooks and teaching materials
5 The variety of teaching materials, textbooks, e-books, and z-book applications
6 Teaching and learning assessment in textbooks and instructional materials. Reasoning and creative thinking, cognitive reconstruction, higher-order thinking skills, process assessment techniques
7 Visual design and layout of textbooks and teaching materials

10 Materials and interactive applications help teaching
