Course Objective

Recognize Ahkam hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which constitutes the basis of Islamic Law

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognize the ahkam traditions (hadeeth) in Islamic law
2   Be aware of the different interpretations of ahkam hadeeth in the Islamic tradition
3   Recognize the aspects of Islamic law which is open to change and closed
4   Recognize the different denominations and opinions in Islamic law
5   To propose solutions to the current issues of Islamic law
