Course Objective

At the end of this course, students will gain competence in presentation techniques in the fashion and textile industry, comprehend visual presentation methods and practices, study lectures about the international trade fairs, exhibitions, fashion shows and other events and prepare designer portfolio and trend catalogs.

1   Understand the presentation techniques used in the fashion and textile industry.
2   Learn the stages of preparation of trade fairs, exhibitions, fashion shows and other related fashion events.
3   Prepare arrangements in store window design.
4   Prepare presentations based on the visual presentation methods.
5   Prepare individual and product design portfolios.
6   Prepare Trend Reports and catalogs.

The integrated evaluation is carried out with the Midterm Exam, Final Exam, Presentation Techniques Design Project and with 6 learning outcomes.

70% of course attendance is mandatory. In case of detection of any copy content on the "Presentation Techniques Design Project", student work will be excluded from the assessment.
