Course Objective

The main goal of this course is to gain the ability to determine the structural and physical properties of woven and knitted fabrics.

2 The determination of raw materials of fabric
3 The determination of twist number and direction of the yarn used in the fabric
4 The determination of woven fabric constructions
5 The determination of warp and weft density in woven fabric
6 The detection of linear density of the yarn used in the woven fabric
7 Mid-term exam
8 Mid-term exam
9 The determination of mass per unit area for woven fabric
10 The determination of knitted structures
11 The determination of wale and course density for knitted fabric
12 The determination of loop length of knitted fabric
13 The determination of linear density of yarn used in the fabric and mass per unit area for knitted fabric
