Course Objective

To give information about the properties and classification of natural stones, marble blocks production methods and equipments used in the guarry and plant.

Week Subject Description 1 Determination of a suitable location of a marble processing plant 2 Organization and the preparation of marble blocks deposit area 3 Determination of settlement plan of marble machine 4 Detailed information on cutting process with gang saw 5 Detailed information on cutting and polishing lines of gang saw product 6 Detailed information on block cutter 7 Detailed information on cutting and polishing lines of block cutter product 8 Midterm 9 Detailed information on polishing machine 10 The abrasives used for polishing and selection criteria 11 Repair of the filling and crack, quality control and selection, and packaging 12 Labor safety on marble plants 13 Methods of waste water purification and means of using marble waste material are described 14 Regulation of marble product deposit area
