Course Objective

Introduction to the mechanics of deformable bodies with how forces are distributed inside bodies, and with the deformations caused by these internal force distributions.

3   Able to describe the elasticity modulus, shear modulus, stain and rigidity concepts

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course involves theoretical lecture and problem solutions related to the subject. The lecture continues in the form of mutual discussion between the lecturer and the students after introduction and basic description of the subject. Problems are given as homework for each related subject.
