Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the students to acquire ten fingers fast typing skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explaining the comparative superiority of typing with F keyboard (Turkish Standard Keyboard)
2   Applying the rules of typing
3   Forming a table in a word document in a timely manner
4   Typing letters in a timely manner
5   Ten fingers typing by using F keyboard at speed of 200 typing strokes per minute.

2 The rules of typing; placement of ten fingers, sitting and resting
3 Basics of MS Word and forming tables in a word document
4 Typing errors, typing drills on main line
5 Counting typing strokes and typing speed, typing drills on upper line
6 Typing drills on bottom line and testing typing speed
7 Mid-term exam
8 Mid-term exam
9 Typing numbers and symbols, typing drills and testing typing speed
10 Typing drills and testing typing speed
11 Typing letters, typing drills and testing typing speed
12 Forming tables, symbols, figures etc in a word document and report typing
13 Dictating, typing drills and testing typing speed
