Course Objective

To identify, the disclosure of the thought which is the basic element of the personel development and accepted as a human right fort his reason, to analyze its borders, to solve the problem whether this freedom may be limited or not.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to identify the disclosure of the thought
2   Being able to present the constitutional basis of the disclosure of the thought
3   Being able to discuss the awards of the international judicial bodies about the topic
4   Being able to discuss the awards of the domestic judicial bodies about the topic
5   Bing able to present the relationship of the disclosure of the thought with some offenses
6   Being able to present the relationship of the disclosure of the thought with other human rights

3 The constitutional basis of the disclosure of thougts and its borders
4 The evalution of the awards of ECHR in the Turkey cases
5 The evaluation of the awards of the ECHR about other countries
6 The basis of the freedom of press and right to information
7 Midterm
8 Social Media and freedom of thought
9 Defamation and right to criticism
10 The offence of the indignity the Turkish Nation, Republic of Turkey, Organisations and the organs of the government (TCC art. 301)
11 The attempt to effect the right to fair trail (TCC art. 288)
12 Absolute ligislative immunity
13 The offence of making propaganda of the terrorist organisation (Anti-Terror Law,ATL art.7)
14 The term of the thoyght crime as an impediment to extradition of offender
