Course Objective

This course will examine the concepts of civilization and culture, and the fundamental elements of Western civilization will be introduced. Ages from antiquity to the present day in chronological order according to the historical, philosophical, architectural and artistic features will be examined.

1   The main issue is the history of the modern world began with the Industrial Revolution
2   This course examines the effects on public life of development in the field of industry
3   This course teaches political movements and social effects in transition from XIX. to XX. centuries
4   This course examines the art and architecture trends in the world in the twentieth century
5   Course topics are technological changes, artistic products and their social reflections that preparing the modern era
