Course Objective

The course aims to help students acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for translating short passages from various fields from German into Turkish.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to understand and interpret written texts of various types, in source language 2   Be able to translate these texts into target language, according to their meanings and functions 3   Be able to solve translational problems 4   Be able to evaluate and criticize translations
