Course Objective

It was aimed to determine the development of Turkish photography from the period of Ottoman Empire until 1980 by examining the visions of leading artists along with political and social changes

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to define by whom and for what purpose photography was produced during the Ottoman Empire period, The photo to have realized the importance of the young Turkish Republic,
2   Will be able to realize the significance of photography for the young Turkish Republic,
3   Can compare the understanding of Photography in universities and education associations to discuss
4   Will be able to compare and discuss the concept of photographic education in universities and associations,
5   Can analyze the effects of political and social changes on Turkish photography.
