Course Objective

In the staging process of a play, to do practical decor and costume design accordind to script edit and the character analysis of play persons by working with actor and script editor.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   In the staging process of a play, to have the necessary theorical knowledge and equipment for decor and costume design.
2   In the staging process of a play, to have the necessary technical knowledge and equipment for decor, costume, lighting and effect design
3   To be able to bring together with the audience and the theorical and practical knowledge which he/she acquired in his/her field.
4   To have the skill to present the plays which have creative and unique value.
5   To be able to use the contemporary techniques in his/her field.
6   To have the ability to convert the scientific reserch process and the results into the varied visual presentation formats.
7   To be able to practice by using varied methods in his/her field.

1 Brifing onto the choosen play script
2 prestudies of play, general research
3 generation of sketches and drafts
4 discussion of play, completion of casting and determination of the mesurments of actors
5 evaluation of the designs by the script edit
6 evaluation, mesurment and price research
7 gethering of materials, follow-up for stage and rehearsal order
8 stage and rehearsal
9 rehearsal; production studies of materials
10 rehearsal; production of costume and decor pieces
11 corsume fitting and follow-up for onstage rehearsal order
12 preperation of incomplete decor and costume pieces, lighting rehearsal
13 general rehearsal
14 general rehearsal with audience

Student can t enter the class after the class started
.The behaviors that disrupts of the consantration of class are reasons for extraction from class.
Process of bringing together the play and the audience, student enters the back stage 1 hour before the start and makes his/her preperation
All negative factors which can effect the stage performance are forbidden.
