Course Objective

Makeup Techniques in Visual Arts aims to introduce new makeup products to the students and teach new techniques with these products. The objective in this course is to recognize the prosthetic producs and production of these materials.

2 Students, recognizing their own faces and their introduction to professional makeup designs
3 Professional makeup techniques and discussion about makeup designs
4 Discussion and evaluation of the work the students produced

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Courses
The instrctor aims for the students to improve their makeup training, technical skills and imagination.
2. Evaluation Sessions and In-class Discussions
To examine the differences between new makeup products, and some prosthetic products with the help of improving technology .
3. Applications
Studying the application is necessary for successful results in the field of professional makeup where observation alone falls short.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

First of all, during the course evaluation phase, the final designation points will be determined in the process of designing the design process while determining the factor ideas in this direction by developing makeup, determining the closeness of opinions of the presentations of finished make-up designs,In the realization stage, the production process and the ordering will be added to the point where the determination of the workshops to be used, the time, the cost amounts are calculated to be kept at a minimum

Assessment Criteria

During the course evaluation the grading will be according to factoring ideas during the design period and developing makeup through this process and how close the presentation of the finished design is to the original idea. During the creation process, determining the workshop, production costs and timing will also be taken into account for grading.

Minimum 80% participation in each of class and in-class practices is mandatory.
