Course Objective

Knowing important artworks, artists and movements in painting, sculpture, architecture and music during 20th century from the final date of the Western Art History Course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Romanticism.
2   Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Neo-classicism. Knowing Orientalism, knowing the artists working the subject of east.
3   Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Realism and Impressionism. Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Post-impressionism and Neo-impressionism.
4   Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Art Nouveau Movement. Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Expressionism.
5   Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Fauvism and Cubism. Knowing general characteristics, artists and artworks of Futurism and Metaphysical Painting.
