Course Objective

To provide understanding the production activities and concept of planning, learning of the basic tools of planning, understanding the necessity for planning and understanding especially basic elements of supply and supply chain management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the evolution of production management. 2   To be able to implement material requirements planning (MRP). 3   To be able to model supply chain design. 4   To be able to understand the supplier selection and supplier evaluation methods. 5   To be able to learn the processes of purchasing.
