Course Objective

On the one hand, getting to know the basic concepts of sociology, comprehending the methods and techniques of research of sociology, learning the history of sociology, and social institutions, get information about social change and social mobility; on the other hand, getting to know basic characteristics of sociology of work, which is a sub-branch of sociology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend of the subject and interest area of sociology, and being able to evaluate the historical development of sociology
2   Being able to establish the relationship between sociology and other disciplines, and being able to expalin their differences
3   Being able to comprehend the individual's place in society and the relationship between individual and society
4   Being able to recognize the social structure and elements of social structure
5   Being able to classify social institutions
6   Being able to have the competence to understand the general nature and dimensions of social change
7   Being able to comprehend the factors that affect the socio-cultural integration
