Course Objective

The aim of the course is to compare the components of European and Turkish industrial relations systems

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to discuss the marked changes in traditional industrial relations systems
2   Being able to examine the new industrial relations comprise relationships between the different levels; European, national, local and enterprise
3   Being able to examine the distinction between sectoral and cross-industry industrial relations; the relationship between bipartite and tripartite processes
4   Being able to examine the relationship between different procedures; consultation, concertation, collective bargaining and instruments; agreements, guidelines.
5   Being able to research to harmonize the Turkish industrial relations with EU
