Course Objective

The aim of this course, based on the causes and consequences of gender inequality to examine gender equality policies. Female identity and gender debates come into prominance in social sciences. This course discusses the establishment and transformation of the female identity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to discuss gender inequality as historical fact.
2   Being able to discuss theories and approaches about gender equality.
3   Being able to discuss gender inequality which can be removed with political and social transformation.
