Course Objective

It is targeted to learn the content and purposes of the rules concerning labour law by analyzing its concepts and regulations in a systematical method. In this manner, students may develop views and solutions on the application of labour law

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to determine the content of the labour legislation and its international sources
2   To be able to explain the functions of labour law regulations
3   To be able to connect the rules of labour law with present cases
4   To be able to examine current applications of labour law and judicial decisions
5   To be able to evaluate new proposals concerning current regulations

6 Occupational Health and Safety, Working Time and Rest Periods in Labour Law
7 First Midterm Exam
8 Ending of Employment Contract, Termination of the Contract with Notice Periods and Termination of the Contract for Just Cause
9 Job Security and Legal Conclusions Arising from the Ending of Employment Contract
10 Trade Union, Trade Union Right and Its Guarantees
11 Establishment of Trade Unions, Supervision, Suspension and Ending of Trade Unions
