Course Objective

The aim of this course is to activate and enhance the utilization and areas of application of GIS in mining, to teach how to use GIS software regarding mining applications and to emphasize the necessity of GIS application on mining.

2   Should recognize the basic parameters of GIS
3   Should know the duties of GIS
4   Should distinguish GIS and CAD based software
5   Should determine the utilization possibilities of GIS in mining
