Course Objective

Off road vehicles are expensive and its have wide operating area unless they do not introduced to student. To introduce in detail and operate optimum condition especially state-owned organization with engineering education are the main purpose. Damages cause production loss and responsibility with economic results because of using out of purpose. It is planned with this course that helping by establishing common language with field workers and engineer candidates.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learning power flow between power source and cutting edge in off road vehicles.
2   Understanding strain and stress distributions of machine components in off road vehicles.
3   Learning requirements of regular diagnosis and ways of loss minimization.
4   Applying knowledge from engineering education to off road vehicle technique and design.
5   To determine using parameters of off road vehicles and analyzing structural differences. Understanding the importance of business-employee safety in field studies.

A sufficient number of students participating in the course get marks in exams and presentation by multiplying the percentage of specified in the table. (%50 of presentation marks are determined by course instructor and the other %50 part are determined by students that participate the presentation and the average of marks are calculated.)

Assessment Criteria

A pool, contains questions from exam of previous years or potential questions are given to students so that at least %30 of these questions are asked from the past exams and the other %70 of questions are asked from new questions. The answers should based on a reason and students should be careful about units and dimensions in their exam papers.
