Course Objective

To examines the structure, organization and function of the transportation sector by using economic methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to learn the concepts and scope of the transportation economy, its importance in the country and world economies 2   Students will learn general world politics about transport economics 3   The students will be able to learn the principles and methods of price determination in transportation economics 4   Students will learn that each type of transport (road, air, rail, sea, combined) 5   Students will have an idea about the historical development of transportation policies and the current situation in the Turkish economy
