Course Objective

Investigating the theorical backgrpund of economic crisis that have been heavily felt by world countries with the globalisation process and analysing the effects of economic crisis on world economy by examining different country experiences.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to analyse economic factors causing economic crisis within the scope of economic crisis theories.
2   Be able to examine the economy policies implemented to reduce/resolve the negative effects of economic crisis within the scope of crisis theories.
3   Be able to discuss the reasons and results of economic crisis and the success of economy policies implemented to reduce/resolve the negative effects of these crisis in developed and developing countries.
4   Be able to analyse inclusive and exclusive economic factors causing economic crisis in Turkey (with in the scope of crisis theories)
5   Be able to discuss the reasons and results of economic crisis and the success of economy policies implemented to reduce/resolve the negative effects of these crisis in Turkey.
